Episode 15- Tips for Amazon Returns, Lockers, and More!

July 24, 2019 by Laura

In this episode, I explore a few recent experiences I’ve had with Amazon. You’ll hear my new love of Amazon Lockers, returning to UPS without packing your box, damaged package, subscribe and save, and reordering items you’ve purchased before. It’s a lot of information in a short episode!

You can listen to the episode on your favorite podcast app or simply click the player below to get it going. If you have any Amazon-loving friends, I’d appreciate it if you’d share this episode with them. As always, thanks for being here with me!

Show Notes: This post contains affiliate links. You don’t pay any extra, and I earn a small commission. I’d also like to call attention if prices I mentioned in this episode were prices I paid at the current time and may not reflect the prices you would pay at the time of reading or listening to this.

Amazon Lockers:
Here’s a great article about Everything You Need To Know About Amazon Lockers

Here’s my little recap from the show:
Delivering to a Locker:
-choose an Amazon Locker as the delivery method
-upon delivery, Amazon will send you a code
-when you arrive at the Locker, input your code on the screen.
-a compartment will open up and take your box!

Returning to a Locker:
-when selecting your delivery options, select “more options”
-select Amazon Locker and find your preferred location
-You print your label and pack it up.
-Arrive at the locker and select that you are returning on the screen
-Input your code that Amazon gave you with your return label details
-A compartment will open up. In my case, there was no way my box was going to fit in that tiny space, so on the touch screen, I selected “package is too big”
-so I closed the small compartment and a bigger compartment opened.
-put my package in, closed the door, and that was it!

Laura Learnings from this episode:
-Amazon Lockers are your friend. Don’t be afraid.
-Make sure you are delivering to the correct Amazon locker!
-UPS will now package your return for you, but be prepared with your return QR code on your phone to make it as quick as possible.
-Make sure you select “more options” to print your own label and package your return if you are returning any possibly embarrassing products
-You can return to Kohls if you want and have one nearby
-Save your return receipts just in case you have to prove you actually returned the item.
-If you are uncomfortable with the way your package looks at delivery, you can request a replacement
-Check out any subscribe and save discounts.
-When buying a product you’ve previously purchased, don’t automatically click buy again. Do a quick search first to see if you can find it cheaper.
