Episode 27- Moms NEED Supportive Shoes!

April 28, 2021 by Laura

In this episode, I talk a ton about how I wish I would have started wearing supportive shoes much earlier on in life. It is possible for you to have comfort, support, and cuteness all in one shoe! I also share my weirdness of loving to visit Costco stores in other states and the gold I find there. 🙂 All in all, it’s a normal styled episode of my thoughts on upcoming purchases and products I’m trying, etc. Hope you enjoy!

You can listen to Episode 27 on your favorite app or click the player below. Talk to you next week!

I’d also like to call attention if prices I mentioned in this episode were prices I paid at the current time and may not reflect the prices you would pay at the time of reading or listening to this.

Laura Lesson
Tomato powder is better than tomato paste and lasts forever. I read an article by Sarah Jampel from BonAppetit.com regarding tomato powder vs tomato paste…..powder is better. I’m going to get some. Mix two parts powder to one part water…use it as a dry rub too. They recommend The Spice House and Burlap & Barrel brands.

Pondering Purchases
Knife Set Chicago Cutlery Fusion 18 piece $150 has sharpener built in
Air duct cleaning – Does it really do anything?
Denman Curl Brush

Trying
Vionic sneaker shoes– They have a 30 day wear test  to make sure that you love them. If you’re still not convinced, they’ll refund your money.  Vionic does not offer refunds or credits on products purchased from any unauthorized dealers. They’ve got shoes for your man too. The shoes I’ve actually purchased are: Stinson Sneaker, Bella Toes Post Sandal, & Tide II Post Sandal)
CBD oil on rusty…jury is still out.

Loving
Dave’s Killer Bread organic white bread $5 at walmart; $7.69 at costco for 2 loaves
Cuisinart 4 slice Toaster (my current one is over 13 years old and going strong!)
Kirkland brand tequila. patron silver is my favorite….but the Kirkland brand is still smooth!
Trader Joes sparkling lemonades….mix with sparkling water to cut down on the sweetness..put some raspberries in there and it’s a fun, refreshing drink.
